Two things I find distracting about this shot: It looks slanted or something, perhaps because of the way the tube is lying. Also the instructions on the side of the box complicate the shot, it'd be nicer to just have the simple graphics from the front of the box and the tube on display.

Good composition and use of colour. It's let down by the lighting though. Judging from the glare at the centre of the shot you used on-camera flash for this. Try experimenting with natural light from a window (you might need longer shutter speeds).

Also, it looks like there's slightly too much sharpening, there's a halo effect appearing on the neck and around the strings.

Nice use of DOF. Although you're not making the most of the tonal range. If you look at the levels histogram for this there's a large unused area in the right (the white end of the histogram) so it doesn't really 'pop'. The blacks (especially the background) aren't pure black, and the whites aren't pure white.

I would have given this a 5 or a 6; technically it's okay, but the subject and setup aren't very interesting.
