Ange de bleu lumiereby TrynityRoseComment: This is one of my top picks, I really like the graphic art nature of this. The offbeat composition is really pretty cool. Very nice! |

Missing Man Formationby MelethiaComment: Great composition. Great choice of subject for a negative image. Really cool inverted colors. I really felt that something that was more graphic art in nature would perform well in this challenge, and look what rose to the top(IMO). |

Austere Splendor of the Dark Ages: Cathedrale of Bayeux (1077 b.c.)by elee3009Comment: 29 places better than me...you suck :P Oh wait, I guess that would be I suck :(
Killer tones in this one, they are really nice. Contrast is pretty good too. Not sure the square crop would of helped, would take away from your good composition. Perhaps a different composition w/o sky? Man I really like those tones, very midevil looking, goes well with the church. Darn sky :( Message edited by author 2006-04-26 10:23:19. |

streetby messerschmittComment: Way cool photo, love the background art. Who's your friend behind you? Was he suppose to be there when you took the photo? I like his inclusion, he adds even more whimsy to this great photo! |

Depth of Wineby sammigurlComment: A great study in shallow DOF and a fascinating trytich. Amazing lighting and sharpness. Very cool! |

Blooming In Pinkby sammigurlComment: The very, very shallow DOF really makes this a very abstractish floral. Pretty good exposure and color tones. As preference, I would probably like to see the flower at the right one-third somewhere, just not so centered. Again, overall...pretty good photo! |

Butterfly Oasisby sammigurlComment: A pretty good compostion, the only improvement to that, would be to eliminate the leaves on the right. The choice of DOF is wonderful it really isolates your subject well, but the focus could be moved back a tad to be on the butterfly instead of the foreground leaves.
I nitpicked you a little bit, but overall a pretty damn good photo! |

Circa 1954by SJCarterComment: Love the composition and the artful PP. A bit of the jaggies going on at the straight edges, but still a very, very good photograph. |
