S T O Pby rachelellenComment: seems oddly unbalanced with the 'stop' lettering in the picture. Not bad/wrong just a little off-kilter. |

Approaching The Stormby JudiComment: I like the picture but it is one where a perfectly symetrical framing would have worked well. Even cropping a touch off of the RH side would have helped IMO. |

Magnolia Blue Velvetby sherpetComment: Very much like glow in the dark. Like a little flashlight just trying to open up its shade and illumin the world. A fine shot and one that is artistic, interesting, and fun to view. Blue is my favorite color. |

Facing a Visual Cultureby posthumousComment: This one has me stumped. I see a girl who looks lost in her own thoughts. She seems invisible, even to the person directly in front of her(her mom perhaps?) The cane strikes me as her salvation/her rock of solitude and comfort.
Or, she could be waiting on some friends to come take her somewhere. Hard to figure within the context of a single photo. |

throb.jpgby dahkotaComment: I'll ring your doorbell back! Looks like a beating heart hidden away, just visible but in retreat. Not sure if your title made me think that or not. Lots of lifelines in the petals to further the illusion. Very soft in a delicate way. |

by GnarfComment: REaction>>> The name of the collection it resides in says it for me...Strangeness. ;) I keep trying to figure out what is casting the shadow, then I figure it out, then I second guess myself, then I find the two wires and look again. I find the blotchy quality of the lighter areas on the wall to be a nice foil to the otherwise defined shapes. Not really my style. Sepia toned or natural colors? |
