Interesting point/counterpoint with the color vs. black and bright vs. dark. Something about the cropping bugs me, though, like the flower really wants to be in a squarer frame. |

This is wonderful! I didn't look at the title first, just gazed on the photo. And my first thought was "thump thump" with the "veins" through the petals. The "blown out" parts of the petals draws me to the center to the heart. |

I'll ring your doorbell back! Looks like a beating heart hidden away, just visible but in retreat. Not sure if your title made me think that or not. Lots of lifelines in the petals to further the illusion. Very soft in a delicate way. |

the title says it all. Georgia O'Keefe in reverse! a pink intruder in the land of pink. The dark blacks and the blown-out whites are what make this real and exciting. an ecstatic picture. |
