All In a Rowby fototracyComment: In my way of thinking...it needs a focal point. Or it needs a tighter crop to really make it all about the patterns. |

9 Set Freeby steve500Comment: Just size this thing up to 720 and you've got a picture that shows well. I'm sure everyone is telling you this...but just in case! ;) |

Harmonyby SDWComment: Pretty colors but bee is too hidden and focus seems to be just a touch in front of the bees head. The BG flowers help create a nice scene. |

Cuckooby sulamkComment: I stink at bird shots so let me just give you my reaction and take it for what it's worth. Doesn't really jump at me as the trees/shadows compete with the bird and makes it somewhat hard to focus on the bird. That might be related somewhat to the soft(focus) branches surrounding the bird. He kinda disappears into the scene. |

Caught nappingby robstComment: I like the detail, just having trouble finding a point of interest! |

Sunset over Queensgateby SoulMan1978Comment: Very pretty colors and the backlighting on the clouds is good. It seems overdominated by the sky. The building isn't identifiable as a lighthouse, office building, etc and so for me it lacks context. |

A Butterfly and the Unblossom Flowerby jere2201Comment: Colors are very nice and technically seems rather sound. I feel the large flower competes with the butterfly and takes the focus away from what is a rather sharp capture of the butterfly. Solid effort. |

Pretty Little Flowerby canigirlComment: A couple of things going on here...
1) Flowers look better in color, unless there are curves and tones in them that favor Black and White.
2) It looks a little soft and/or pixelated, maybe a result of resizing or perhaps camera limitations.
3) Composition is dead center. Look around a bit for the Rule of Thirds and immediately see an improvement in compositional skills.
Don't get down-- just keep on shooting! |
