Just wondering what your white balance was set to, cause of the colour cast in this, I got this blue cast when the flash was on but the white balance was set to incandescent lighting.

I went there on the Friday for this challenge, and got so carried away with the Kites that I forgot to take Landscape pictures, I had planned on taking the exact same picture as yours! I wish I had cause mine was not really a Landscape! Small World! By the way, I live in Kurihama, how about you?

Composition-Content
Firstly, I like your idea for this picture, you made a good point. However, when I look at this picture, I see space! Where I live, in Japan, there is nothing but buildings, they have about 5cm between each building, literally! So, space is all relative. I would hate to see this happen in other beautiful parts of the world. You have made a great picture in this respect, as it makes you think and acts as a springboard for discussion. As far as composition goes, people have mentioned that there is no clear focal point, I think that you might have been able to use the road leading into the picture as opposed to horizontally, however it is hard to say this without seeing the view behind.
Technical
Use of panoramic was a good choice, it looks like you used a wide lense which has added a slight curve to the horizon. Colours seem a little soft here, I wonder if you could have boosted them a bit more.
My Opinion
The best thing about this picture is that you have made a statement, one of the most important parts of photography IMO. Good Luck in the next challenge.

This is so cool! Is it for real, or is it one of those signs you can buy? Nice use of colours for the border, perhaps would have cropped the trees off and concentrated only on the sign.
