Not bad. Since this is a staged shot I need a little more. The angle really helps but it could use more details (ex shells on the ground, something else in the frame to enhance the mystery, etc.) Good shot. Meets the challenge. Good luck.

Cute shot. Overall, the technicals are good as is the b/w conversion. The focus on the paw gives the impression of a missed focus, however... I suspect this was staged.

Nothing wrong with staging a shot, if that is what you did, but in order to be successful as a staged shot it needs to have a great concept or be believable as if it was a candid moment captured. Whether it is staged or not, it also needs to be compelling and that more than anything is what's missing.
