Looking at this I can almost feel what it must be like to fly. The energy, the wonder, the beauty of it all captured in this one shot. Your 499th placing is a crystal clear illustration of the mindset of the voter. The voter doesn't care about what your photo is about. All they care about is if you know how to work camera settings and other technical nonsense. Well to those voters I'd say you worked your settings just right to acheive this masterpiece. Well done!

This is such a well crafted photo. The dark shadows and bright highlights work to purfection. The composition is right on the mark too. The DOF couldn't have been any better and the textures! Oh and the cat, he/she is the viewer experiencing this photo. 10!
