The lighting is good and I like the background setup you went with. I just wish the cheesecake itself was more solid looking and not falling apart somewhat. Anyway, I know nothing of this type of photography so take with a grain of salt. I can image this isn't easy to shoot.

Cool shot. I like all those powerlines in the background. The way they cross like that makes it looks somewhat like a boxing ring.

I think in this challenge you need to hit people with some sort of emotional impact. It's a good pic of a chess set and I get the concept but it just falls short in having that aforementioned impact.

I really like the composition much like a movie poster. What's missing in my opinion is the lighting doesn't match the intensity of the subject matter. I think you would be served better if this was more contrasty with deep shadows to heighten the mood.
