Swanby posthumousComment: An interesting pose. It conveys sadness to me. I suppose it's because of the way the hand is falling away from the light at the top and into the darkness below. I doubt most will like the technicals but for me it's perfect especially the focus and exposure. Good luck. |

Emerald Eyesby njsabsComment: Wonderful focus. Nice to see some details in the skin, a rarity these days... |

A Handful of Tiger - MyTribute to Guido Danieleby JudiComment: Overall not a bad attempt. The colors are really good and the composition works. I would just work on refining the details more so that it's cleaner and also maybe use a softer light. Having a little more shadows would also help give it more depth. That said, I can't imagine the painting was easy so still a very good job.
Btw, is the background a monitor display? The subtle pattern seems to suggest it, although it may just be some other artifact. If it is a monitor I would suggest blurring it more so that it doesn't look like it's a monitor. |

Ouchby JudiComment: Fantastic! Looks like the guy coming over to help has more protection on than the guy who needs it! :P |

I just saturated the existing colors, mostly the blue in the background. |

Just some more painting with a flashlight. I first painted the background. Afterwards, I narrowed the beam and painted only the rose petals. In post, I saturated the blues and dodged the top part of the vase a little. That's pretty much it. |
