Wow... definitely the most original in this challenge, and I feel this should have been in the top 10, if not a ribbon winner. Too bad the trolls came out in droves for this one... not sure how anyone can justify any score below 5 on this.

I'm asuming this is a real painted arm/hand, this is really cool, i like the background. A neat twist for the challenge, 7.

Stunning use of colors in the background. The artist that painted the hand is obviously very good at what they do, as well. I'd be surprised if this didn't make at least the top 15.

I love these hand painting things, It is an idea that has definitely been done before, but you executed it well

Overall not a bad attempt. The colors are really good and the composition works. I would just work on refining the details more so that it's cleaner and also maybe use a softer light. Having a little more shadows would also help give it more depth. That said, I can't imagine the painting was easy so still a very good job.

Btw, is the background a monitor display? The subtle pattern seems to suggest it, although it may just be some other artifact. If it is a monitor I would suggest blurring it more so that it doesn't look like it's a monitor.

I have to give you a couple points just for all of the time that you put into this shot.

Nice image - Although massively stolen idea of same animal from a creative artist - Can't help but feel the over saturated colours are very distracting - I like the background and sharpness is good.

I like the creativity of this piece, and the painting is well done. However, I think your photo doesn't quite do your paint job complete justice. I don't know if its the background, or the lighting, but I think it could maybe use some work.

Daniele's work is amazing. This is good too. The 'eye' looks very real. I think that those bright dots on the background are a bit distracting. I think I would have preferred something a bit more subtle back there.

love his work and this is a pretty good take on it. the paint job isn't as good but that is not a fair comparison. excellent job.

Great job!!!! I loved that stuff... I can tell you spent a lot of time getting it to match up. There are some discrepancies, yes, however I think this is a tribute of a fantastic nature. You should definitely be proud.

I hope that you get a nice score... unfortunately people won't see "hand" right away and they like to vote on the "right away" feeling and like to vote down if things don't meet the challenge. Even if you get a score that's not great please know that this is truly an image to be proud of.

I see you used the idea....very nice job. I hope you win. I would have preferred a simpler background.

So far the most creative use of a body part by far. Very interesting.
