The Joy of Sleddingby puzzledComment: I like this sledding shot because it's natural and not overworked. Mom's expression is great too. One of contented love. 7 |

r.i.p.by focus57Comment: I really like the post production in this one. I've never been able to foster that dark look while keeping detail. Dramatic skyline. 7 |

Quality Timeby esdarbyComment: This one made me do one of those warmhearted chuckles where you think of your own kids. I love it. The lighting is just a tad harsh. Maybe B&W would have helped. 7 |

Feed me Mother!by trainComment: Great capture. Great technicals. I'm not blaming you, as I'm sure this was caught on the fly, but I wish I could see a tiny bit more of "mom". 7 |

unconditionalby tateComment: A great portrait. Slightly too much post-production for my taste. I tend to like the natural look. Great composition. 7 |

Breadwinner, mother of five by whiteroomComment: Great real-life portrait. Weatherworn people always make interesting portraits, and this lady is no exception. I'd have to see the original, but I wonder about cropping a little less tight so we see a tiny bit of her left shoulder. It looks slightly odd this way. 7 |

Of Creationby soupComment: I like this shot a lot. Hope you don't get slammed by the DNMC nazis. The gradient is beautiful and your choice of marble is excellent as it either looks like a little world or like a sphere with tiny organisms. 7 |

"Of course I'll wear it tonight, sweetheart!"by rachelellenComment: Any of these photos that made me laugh were good. I remember making macarroni ashtrays for my parents...who didn't smoke. Maybe a bit too much highligh on her chest. Just a tad of a burn for that? The cropping is nice though. 8 |

A Helping Handby BudComment: I like the sepia. If this is posed, it's done naturally enough. If it's a candid, it's a great capture. 8 |
