Nice idea, but the photo just doesn't hold our interest for too long. Technicals are pretty good. Sharp, but perhaps adding some more red to the picture makes her skin look more lively.

Seems to have some weird lighting going on. Keep working on your post-processing skills. Hair is really hard to outline properly. Try a feather to your selection or blurring the background on a separate layer and then erasing the parts on that layer you want in focus with a soft-edged eraser. That may lead to better results. I like your idea though.

I think it would have been more powerful if the writing was done by hand. This looks too "staged". Generally I don't prefer pictures where words are the subject or important to the meaning. Just a personal preference I guess.
