Summer medowby MudHutComment: Yes, there are lots of flower shots, but this one is nice. It's how bokeh is meant to be and adds a lot to the picture. I wonder if the yellows could have been darkened just a tad. 8 (I'm sure you know by now, but it's meadow) |

Just Another Tequila Sunriseby thegrandwazooComment: I'm not too excited about bokeh created from a computer screen or picture. Where's the bottle's shadow from the sun? Nicely set up, but I'm being nice giving it a 4. Bumping to 6 on reassessment. I certainly don't think it's "cheesy"... |

Butterflyby cmeierComment: If this was taken in an exhibit, I believe it is a Clearwing from Costa Rica. Nice shot BTW. I don't know how much light you had, but I found that shooting without a flash gave better colors to the wings, etc. The scales are too reflective and the flash, it seems, tends to bleach them out. |
