... overlooking half dome from glacier point... this was a little precarious... i'm usually not afraid of heights but this one gave me the "tickles"...

... i'm kinda bummed that a huge cloud was shadowing the top of half dome but i wasn't going to walk out there anymore so i guess this will have to do...

... shot with a P&S camera...

This was a simple convert using channels. No NI used in this shot.

You are so very gifted. I love all your images. I can only dream of being as good as you. :)

This reminds me of a certain red ribbon image...hehehehe...but I like it...the angle leading the viewer.

Very brave ... or very ...

I think that the cloud was actuallu a blessing for this picture. It evens out the background with a single real feature and makes you the most important part of the picture ... which supports why the central framing works so well.

Another great perspective shot. Having the person there really gives the viewer a sense of how large and vast the scenery is. I love the dark clouds as well. There does seem to be one little black spot in the clouds over half dome that might be cloned out but it does not detract from the overall beauty of this photo.

Hey - didn't you have a shot at the exact same place 15 years ago?

Not for a thousand dollars would you catch me standing there like that! I'd keel over and fall from nausea and dizziness. HAHAHA...
Spectacular capture once again though. I'm still going back and forth about the centered composition here. I like it, but something in me would still like to see it offset - I think it's because of the shape of the promentory (is that a word?) rock you're standing on. The B/W is killer and the lighting play with the shadows is awesome. The view is amazing, along with the clarity of the shot. Visually, creatively, and technically all of these shots are just kickass! ;-)

Yeah, this one makes my palms sweat. What an amazing view, though! These pictures are outstanding! I'm adding "visit Yosemite" to my list of things I want to do.

I AM afraid of heights and this shot gives me chills. makes me want to grab you and pull back to the ground and say "what? are you freaking crazy??" lol. My even further worry is since i assume you had to use the timer to acheive this you had to probably move quickly and les scarefully than had you had the neccesary 15 minutes to shuffle your way out there. ;) Yikes! its breathtaking though.

now that's a GREAT SHOT! Personally I would not walk out there. I'd be too afraid of falling off.

You need to have your arms outstretched, and instead of calling this "the edge" call it "I'm the king of the world!"

(please don't return this comment, hehe!!)
