The Ultimate Low Carb Dietby EBJonesComment: Cute idea. I wish the lighting was better. It's quite bright in the background. I think I'd also prefer a sharp DOF from front to back. 5 |

Sensory Deprivationby pointandshootComment: Heh, there's always some knucklehead in every crowd. OK, I actually see where you went on this one and the gradient does add to the effect. But how high do you really think this is going to go? ;P 4 |

earthyby ordinaryangelComment: Well, apart from the interesting fisheye, I'm not seeing a lot. A bit too dark for my taste. 4 |

A Dirty Martiniby scarbrdComment: What the hell is a dirty martini? I like how the white flower is quite sharp. Diagonal composition is nice. |

Is this enough dirt?by shutterbug8Comment: It may have been oversharpened to make up for a soft shot? Dirt has been showing lots of sharpening artifacts in people's work. The composition looks pretty static and I'm not getting a lot here. 4 |

Dirty Cashby kevip6Comment: Nice conversion to B&W. Well exposed. A bit odd, but creativity should be rewarded. 7 |

Flower in the Dirtby banmornComment: Fair composition. The lighting is good. The shot isn't really saying much to me though. I don't "feel" any sort of message. 5 |

Unless you're the leader, the view never changes.by graphicfunkComment: Ya! DIRT! I'm looking for real dirt, not "model" dirt. I will say though that I can't quite figure out if the shirt is so dirty it looks like mud, or if it's something else. I may also have been tempted to remove the one splotch over his eye. We like to see eyes in potraits. 7 |

Yesterday's Flowers ... Last Week's Heroby PhantomEWOComment: A possibly powerful image. However, I think the saturated flowers actually detract from the message. That doesn't mean you couldn't use selective desat, but I would have also desated the flowers and ribbons so the colors were muted and subtle. 6 |
