Steve, congratulations on another excellent and creative shot. I would love to know how you did this. I really think this shot would have scored better if not for the people out there who are allergic to dust. Any outtakes?

should have done better... LOL

LOL - Yeah the border's what killed ya'!

Congrats on the brown - I honestly thought this was going to do higher. You probably freaked all the SLRs with their worst nightmare.

You should 'ave titled it "P&S Revenge!"

Yep, it's dirt, but it's not really very entertaining as a photograph. Hopefully you cleaned it after this shot!

Sensor dust? A dreaded problem, but not interesting enough for a good score, consider shooting some color gradient at least, even then it would be lacking an interesting visual subject.

Sensor dust? That qualifies for dirt, so you'll get no DNMC from me, but there's not much here to hold my attention. Nice lighting.

a 10 for such brave nothingness still signifying dirt, a lovely gradient, and to foil your brown ribbon.

I can certainly relate to this. I'll bet you have a lot of comments saying the same thing.

I give this a 10 because hopefully you will win a ribbon, win fame and fortune, which will lead to lots of disposable income, a portion of which you will then use to buy a sensor cleaning kit. Good luck! ;)

Yea - I hate those spots too - but they sure don't make much of a picture (But I guess you know that already).

Heh, there's always some knucklehead in every crowd. OK, I actually see where you went on this one and the gradient does add to the effect. But how high do you really think this is going to go? ;P 4

I think that only DSLR people will get the point. Nice composition though, the way the light sweeps you from the lower left to the darker upper right. Rule of thirds you know, LOL. We made me smile.

I'm not sure what this shot is trying to show. I've been staring at it for a few minutes now and I still don't get it. Sensor dirt? A blank wall? Are those specks dirt or graphical artifacts?

Heheh, figured someone would do this. Is dirt dust? Is brown blue? The universe spins in bewilderment.
