Wash It?by DazzermasComment: Hope you didn't wash it - a similar shot could possibly do well in Orange.
Simple but good shot with good composition. |

Bulgari Aqua by h2Comment: Very nice! A few photos so far with the same theme (ie water drops on mirror finish). This is, however, one of the better ones as far as composition, focus, exposure etc. What pushes it above the rest is the subtle capture of the droplet crown. A fav & 9 from me - good luck! |

Rich boys toysby LadComment: Didn't quite capture the required crop after rotation but still a great shot of my boats ;-) |

The Shadows Of The Birdby photokid69Comment: I keep coming back to your photo and decided I had to change my vote from the original 9 I gave. This is now my only 10 for the challenge!
It's beautifully captured and the B&W works very well. I gave you the exra point as I really appreciate photos that are captured well when not staged. Being at the right place at the right time is one thing but capturing the shot showing the drama with the right amount of subject as well as nailing the challenge shows real skill. I'll be disappointed if this doesn't get a ribbon. Good luck. |

Plainby mitalapoComment: I almost missed this photo - Just noticed that I had only completed 99% of votes. I'm glad I found it though as this is very clever (I hope you explain how you achieved this). I'm not going to pick on the fact that the sun and shadows don't align ;-). This got an 8 from me - good luck. |

Cheep...Cheep?by TimosabyComment: There were some great photos in this challenge and most were very good (IMHO). This was one of the four I gave my hightest score. This one I would like to have bumped to one of the rare 10s that I give if only the focus was a little sharper. I love this photo and would be surprised if it doesn't get a ribbon and annoyed if it's not in the top 10. Well done! |

I found an Egg in my Cokeby whiterookComment: This was the photo that I scored the lowest in this challenge and I thought I should give you the courtesy as why. The out-of-focus does nothing for me here (intentional or not) and the setting is more distracting that adding to the composition, including the window reflection on the bottle.
That said, this does meet the challenge and the egg in the bottle is unique and clever so this got a 3 from me. |

Parallelism in Daily Life by hManComment: Bugger! Clicked the wrong challenge? This would have scored well I think in Parallel Lines (better than mine anyway) ;-)
I've finished voting and thought I believe this DNMC I've still decided to give this a 4, which is higher than some other photo's I've judged, as I do like this photo. |

Little Gardener sees Garden Orb on Garden Shedby AbraComment: Thanks to everyone who commented. I completely agree with the criticisms made and would not have composed the photo in such a location if I had a choice. I am not particularly good at, or inspired by, taking photos in a staged setting. That̢۪s not to say I don̢۪t appreciate the skills and efforts achieved by those that do. I carry my old, beat-up cameral with me everywhere and try and capture moments that are special (to me at least) and not staged. I focusing on this spider hoping it would do something interesting while it was leaving its hiding hole to escape the hot tin shed. My three year old son, after proudly stealing my hat off me, came over to see what had my attention. He had inherited my wife̢۪s arachnophobia and I managed to quickly grab this photo just before (and accurately predicted by aliqui) he ran away.
I really liked this photo as it caught the moment of realisation of something scary in his garden. I also feel that the voting was fair for my photo (especially in comparison to some of the great photos submitted). Hopefully, one day I̢۪ll invest in some PP software and better equipment to improve my photo outcomes, but more importantly, learn from the comments made of my shots and the skills of those that I judge. My first challenge was more than a little fun.
