I like the uniform tones in the picture and the relaxed natural expression. The fill in light from the right is very strong and creates shadow of the hair in the face and at the same time removes depth and shape of the face. I would prefer a less strong light so there is a natural shadow in the face caused by the light from the left which wraps around the shape of the face. Also in the background on the left there is a light area, then dark, and then light again. Better to have a gradual fall-off from right to left. (you could crop the left light part away)
