Fenceby dsrayComment: I really like how the lines are broken up by the hands, gives a focal point. |

Jenniferby EddyGComment: I like the expression in your alternate entry even better, a great smile. Only the white back of the chair is distracting. |

Easy Home Cookingby KonadorComment: I am afraid people might vote you down because they might think it is me again trying the same thing (see my portfolio), which they really should not do. It was not my idea either, I got my inspiration from a book (gave credit to the photographer) and had to try it as well. I like you composition, it is nice and calm. The light is coming from the right side to create shadows, but I feel it could use some more contrast still. Maybe the light was still to high, not shining flat across the pasta, or another light or reflection softened the shadows. My personal taste is more with strong contrast to make something dynamic out of something static. |

D'Arcyby jmritzComment: very unsharp in the face, focus seems to be on the couch behind her. Also needs white balance adjustment |

-LAURA-by AnastasiaComment: I like the light and the B&W in this one, I like the attitude it expresses, but it is a bit too much tilted for my taste. 8 |

Veronique by sahkoComment: I would crop of part of the left, up to her armpit, leave the arms but remove the rest of the body, so you get a nice play of diagonals around the face. Great shot. |

The Station Masterby trainComment: such a formal headshot really fits well with the importance of the man in uniform. Could have done with a bigger distance to the background to get it out of focus. |

Dadby GinaRothfelsComment: without the editing this might have been a great portait. |

Love Bunniesby hughletherenComment: Nice idea, but I don't think the rabit enhances the portrait. The lady on her own would have made a great portrait as well. The light is perfect, bringing out the hair color, nice soft light on the face, good expression, make-up. 9 |
