Just came back to see whether you were inspired by the same image as I was, and indeed, I saw the same image of Chris Rout in a book and had my own take on it. (Here //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=48054 ). The book explained the lighting setup, but contained an error. It showed the light in the same direction of the pasta strands, which kills all the shadows. Great learning.

In my view this does not really fit together, the motion blur striped don't really add to the picture, they don't enhance it, the light on the flower is so different it alsmost looks from another picture. Sorry.

A very good panning shot, you must have practiced. I like it that there is still some movement in the car, not totally frozen, also the wheels, adds to the dynamics. Would have like some more empty space around it.

The ball is so sharp, so different in color/light, and the background so clean that it does not suggest movement to me anymore, despite the movement blur. Looks to be more an image for the smart effect.
