If you would have cropped closer, just the hole in between the two links plus some structure around it, then it would have been more abstract.

Looks like a close up of the chickens from the previous challenge. You could have cropped the top spot away and get a stronger composition. Edit after your PM : I know now that it is not the chicken. It proofs it is a real abstract, being just shape, color, structure, interesting to look at and think about what it represents or what it could be, so very fitting to the challenge.

What a pity, why not just the great colors and lines which are on the right of the image, without the purple bit. Now I see immediately a flower, otherwise it would have been just colors and lines and structure, more of an abstract.
