Nice capture of - '1 day old'. I know this was put here for a thread so won't go into 'criticism', which I'm sure you're fully aware of anyway.

Again depending what you had to work with, while the centered composition works well here, perhaps a fraction more space above the head and to the left of the bill/beak, may have made this even better in my opinion. Of course the person in the background, and to a certain extent, the pens/fencing/whatever distract/detract. Not much to be done about the person (save for timing at time of shooting or cloning out in pp), the pens/fencing/whatever perhaps could be used to add an unusual patterned element here, not sure. A difficult bird to photograph and still be able to discern the texture/detail in the feathers/etc.

Looks like good potential, but possibly needs some 'tweaking' in pp, although that is likely difficult due to the already silhouetting of the Seahawk. Fairly minor, but the horizon needs a slight nudge rotation up on the right. Also, depending what you had to work with (whether this is a full crop or zoomed in pp and cropped, etc), but perhaps a slight variation in composition to try to gain more drama, may make this even better in my opinion.

Nice colors and composition. If the eye were nice and sharp (and ideally the beak/bill as well) make this even better in my opinion. Looks like fairly good contrast control in the whites/feathers.

Nice capture, colors and composition. Looks like it needs the slightest nudge rotation up on the left to get the horizon level.

Another good 'opportunity capture' that to get it 'sharp' as well as taking it in time is rare. Again, possibly a crop variation and slight nudge rotation up on the left may help this in my opinion.

This is quite funny and a good capture. I think cropping it tighter on the left for off-center, otherwise trying to gain perfect symmetry/centering, would make this even better in my opinion. Sharper of course too, but 'opportune'.

7 - Good unique capture. Criticism; difficult, as this is likely fully zoomed both camera and pp, and I can just discern the quality beginning to deteriorate as is (some noise/grain/pixelated or possible resizing/jpeg loss issues). Colors are good, composition good, possibly a more finely tuned crop especially bottom left, but difficult. Depending what you had to work with, possibly incorporating a little more above 'The brakeman' may have given this something extra (and helped size/quality wise), but not sure, works good as is compositionally. Up to 7 from 6, mainly for the 'unique factor/capture'.

8 - Good. Like the way everyone is 'otherwise occupied', including the main subject, even though he seems to be aware of the camera. Criticism; mainly the lady in the maroon coat/jacket, being the only 'other' without a raincoat/cover detracts from the overall impact and 'clothing effect', save for a totally different crop, not much you can do about that, obviously. Depending what you had to work with, the subject more centered, a more finely tuned crop on the right and possibly more space at the bottom may have made this even better in my opinion, but does work well as is. Up to 8 from 7.

8 - Good. Like the b&w/toning. Criticism; the white car in the background detracts, but fairly minor. If the main subject was more prominent, 'somehow', whether this could be achieved in pp with contrast/etc, who knows, but if the gentleman 'popped' out of the crowd just a bit more, make this even better in my opinion. Also, dependent what you had to work with, if the subject was more centered, with a little 'more' bottom and right incorporated into frame (and possibly 'less forehead' at the bottom), may also have made this even better in my opinion. Up to 8 from 7.
