8 - Mainly the distant light and rays and on the island/headland(?) that I liked about this, that coupled with the fact that I am sure that this size does not do this justice and would look excellent wall sized. The foreground does detract somewhat in my opinion, onlybecause I cannot discern the detail nor color enough, so perhaps a fraction less of it, else (if possible) a little more color brought in, who knows. Possibly a little less of the sky/top too, but only because I'd like to see the 'main attraction' dominate even more. edit:to add comments

8 - Nice scene and colors. Composition very good. Liked the dof. Undecided on a little softer overall, or else just 'sharper', more definition in all - both would work well I imagine. Could just be a visual thing, but also this looks like a fraction nudge up on the right, might have given it a greater perspective, but not sure. Minor, but a more refined crop (or clone) of the very bottom right as well, perhaps. edit:to add comments

8 - Excellent photo, sure it is treasured. Each and every one seems so naturally happy and at ease. Was just the top section (including lighting), the hand and the wristband on the right, that were the only things holding this back in my opinion, but I'm sure you're likely well aware of it all and yes, it does not have to be 'perfect' to still be an excellent photograph. edit:to add comments

9 - Up from 8 - Really liked this image and scene, especially the varying levels of dof/focus used and how they were used to emphasize the elements in the image you wanted. Nice composition and colors. The only thing for me was the background - where the ground seems to go to another level and there are some oof objects/etc there - if the image were able to be cropped and that removed (yet still retain the proportions, etc) likely have made this even better in my opinion. Maybe bottom left corner too, but difficult. Lighting is very nice. edit:to add comments

8 - Really like the perspective in this, including the angle across the water and the showing of the 'steam'. Like the elements in the water, just wish they were more defined. Overall very clean and nice colors - but wonder about them 'boosted' just a fraction, whether that may have given this a little extra. 8 - Like the composition and the elements in this, especially the mushrooms/toadstools/fungii. Perhaps a slightly tighter crop, especially at the top, may have made this even better, not sure. Would also liked to have seen a little more detail and definition in the mantis, including texture. Like to see more of that 'mushroom' too, but that is likely 'another image'. edit:to add comments

Apologies in advance if wrong, but (and especially with the reflection) this just seems like it needs a very slight rotate up on the left... but could just be a visual/perspective thing. Looks quite processed (apologies again if wrong), however I think it suits this image and gives it the drama that makes it.
