| Great shot! Pity it was a Free Study, though. A topic like Pet Portrait would have resulted in a much more reasonable 6.5+ score. |

I agree with the others and was one of the 4 that gave this a 10. This is a house cat capture with the dignity and power of a big cat. The mossy ground with the colored mushrooms give it a fantasy feel.
The lighting, focus and composition is fantastic. I love it!!
You should be very proud of this!

| Meant to comment on this during the challenge, somehow didn't get back to it. Just wanted to say I LOVE the expression and essence of this cat you've captured here. The background works very well and the eyes are perfect! Technicals all handled adeptly. Great job and an image to be proud of. |

| 9 - Up from 8. Really like this. Like the little toadstool/mushroom elements too. The pose/expression is very good. Colors also very nice. Just wish it were 720. Perhaps a more finely tuned crop at the bottom, but minor. |
