"Your title should should include the year." Sorry, I'm a bit lost on the year - I haven't memorized the Chinese calendar.

I like the origami pig and the way it ties into the calendar. I find I have more questions than answers with this image. The BG leaves me wondering if I'm missing something or not. Overall, it comes off as a quick snapshot, yet the work on the pig makes me think I'm missing something. 4

Decent portrait beginning. The pose works for the Godfather and you have some decent detail in the suit and chair with the lighting set up. The problem comes in the backdrop (only partially covering and very wrinkled) and the strong backlight to the right of the chair (bright light pulls the eye toward it, in this case away from the subject.) Keep trying, you've got a good beginning. 4

An interesting time in history. The title detracts. The pencil seems out of place and the letter alone is only an image of an artifact. I'd love to see more context in this image. 4

Interesting background. Fun subject. The image itself doesn't quite carry off the baby birth of the smiley face. It comes across as "Why do I have someone in a baby hat and swim suit with a smiley face?" Keep trying. 4

Nice photo of a penny. The overall image doesn't say much to the view, except "here's what a 58 penny looks like". The fingers don't add to the shot, and the nail chip detracts. 4
