I dont' get the border but i'm feeling the shot, its awesome, composition has a perfect tightness to it with the lamp, camera, and hat flirting with edges ever so slightly. And of course the expression seals the deal. 10

background is just too dark, i'm guessing you wanted to show the dancers and all (which was a great idea!), but the exposure or something just doesn't work and leaves too much negative space, throwing off the composition of what might otherwise been a stellar shot. Sorry didn't mean to bash there I just really liked what I think you were going for, thats why i felt the need for a longer comment. 7 from me

beautiful shot, love the B/W work here, but i'm afraid you might take some hits for this being more of a traditional portrait shot, rather than a environmental shot of a person in their surroundings. Unless she is a street urchin. doesn't look like one tho :P

This guys is always around my school outside the Borough Hall stop in Brooklyn! Great action shot on this animated character. Was he really in that vanity fair like he says?
