The Coupleby LadyKComment: I'd suggest cropping on the left to eliminate the door, and the door stop on the wall. Or at least cloning out the door stop. (It distracts from the subject, and would help sell an earlier time, or even a shipboard cruise.) I like the feel of the image, and the dead on gaze from the man, looks like he is peering out at you across the years. |

Teenby LadyKComment: Nice. The softened background minimizes distraction, but is clear enough to add information to the image. The highlight are on the floor is about to burn out white, so be careful with brightness and contrast there. I think a little lower crop on the top, to take out the clear area at the top of the doors might work a little better, and help reinforce your boredom theme. |

Peltz and Simmererby LonzComment: What a really pretty picture. It looks like something out of one of those miniature villages they sell for Christmas. The literalists might grade you only on what is in the windows, but I thoroughly enjoyed the image. My only nit to pick here is that it appears the camera wasn't quite square to the building and level. I gave you a 9. |

Final Floretsby bspurgeonComment: Critique Club Review:
Color Saturation and Hue: Colors are vivid, nothing is over saturated, hues are natural.
Brightness and contrast are very good. I like it that you were able use exposure and lighting angle to keep so much texture in the head of the dandelion.
Focus and depth of field: Focus is nice and sharp, depth of field is well used to create a pleasing bokeh that adds to the composition.
As you've already noted, the dark area distracts a bit. There also appears to be a bit of processing artifact around the tops of the florets.
The image really works with just the two florets remaining. Sort a humorous, space alien/my favorite Martian effect. |

Expert Editingby posthumousComment: I'm not sure how this fits the challenge. Are you wanting a drawing, the person behind the drawing? Interesting image, but does not seem to fit the challenge. |

...is some mistletoe by molinski4611Comment: Very well done image. I imagine you will get some flack from the more conservative in the crowd. This image really works, regardless of the subject. I like texture of the sheets, and how they fade to white, even the border where it makes room for her foot at the bottom, is a nice touch. 10 |

A star is born...by JacciComment: Shoehorns are references to images that do not really fit the challenge, but the photographer uses the title to try to fit the image into the challenge. In this case the those who take the challenges literally are referring to the fact that there is not a physical star in your image. Personally, the challenge refers to the fact that not all the stars are in the sky, so for me a picture of a star, or in your case a glamor shot that looks like it could be someone who is a star, fits the challenge well.
Others are looking for a glowing gaseous ball, or a star shaped object. You will find them along the way during your journey here. |

Sweet Celebrationby Mal37Comment: What a cool image. The border is a little heavy for me, and distracts a tiny bit. Really like the snow effect. Nice use of depth of field to get the mood you wanted. 9 |
