I'd suggest cropping on the left to eliminate the door, and the door stop on the wall. Or at least cloning out the door stop. (It distracts from the subject, and would help sell an earlier time, or even a shipboard cruise.) I like the feel of the image, and the dead on gaze from the man, looks like he is peering out at you across the years. |

Good capture. I like it when people are looking at the camera. When I'm "busted", I just smile and act like a dumb tourist.... |

And then do you say, "Thanks so much! Merry Christmas!" and hightail it out of there? I always struggle with the same discomfort when I try street photography. Maybe because I'm not terribly happy to be in front of someone's camera and I'm projecting that onto the rest of the world ;-) |
