Postage Stampby TheStickComment: So many people missed the point here - eventually the net will make everything snail mail obsolete, I'm sure there are millions of people that no longer write letters to post, and instead use email.
A great photo, and a great idea - unfortunately wasted one some I guess.
The DOF works fine for me, focused on the price (which is also part of the obsolete theme - mail on the net is basically free to send).
I like your style Sticky :-)
Snail mail is obsolete and only used by those unwilling to move with the times, or slow to move with the times.
The last time I posted something? hmmm about 10 minutes ago, I hit SEND! ;-) Message edited by author 2005-07-11 15:39:28. |

Would you like an Apple little girl?by TheStickComment: lol I love your philosphy, as Simon says "You can't take away people's right to be assholes."
also one of my fave films, and actors :-)
I think if anything the stalk ruins the look...
I'd sure like to know how you got inside the apple to bang those nails out though ;-) |

Jenby graphicfunkComment: ahhhhhhhhhhh I am in love :-) she almost has a wry smile, every time you look away and back again, I swear she's struggling to keep that smile from breaking.
Sure there are probably 100 things (well not that many) you could add to this, a plethora of effects and so on, but i think the image is striking enough, and everytime i focus somewhere else other than the lips, and then back again, they almost move a little.
Captivating, and I'm surprised at the lack of comments... |

Spoon and Milkby graphicfunkComment: should have ranked higher, blows some of the top 10 shots away tbh (edit - I've just realised who took this shot, after admiring some of your other work) - this was one of (if not THE) favorite for me, the milk looks alive! Gold & Blackby AmiYuyComment: heheh the black one knows he's the odd one out :-) I think this shot would have worked really well from the front too, although you woulda had to lay in front of all those slobbering jaws - imagine the image face on, white/black/white/white - coulda been a ribbon ;-) |
