ouchyby yourbuddyjhawkComment: Gonna give it a shot here ... In my experience DP members don't enjoy someone reversing the challenge. Additionally, the photo looks like it was too dark and upon trying to pull something from it the noise came too. It's hard to tell exactly what this is - although the old "hand in the waffle iron" just doesn't appeal - regardless of whether it meets the challenge. |

Killing Me Softlyby SJCarterComment: Originally posted by Cutter: Animals die eventually. All organic matter does. Why people feel it is necessary to devote their care, advocation and attention to an animal or bird who will meet its fate one way or another is beyond me. |
What a strange thing to say ... I mean, that is like saying "Why save a child from a burning building if his mother left her cigarette burning ... I mean, if he couldn't get out of the house on his own what good is he". Humans tend to try to separate themselves from animals for whatever reason- I ask "why?" to that. |

Yin and Yangby xtineComment: Sthose stairs are great and the crop is brilliant. The allegedly captured moment and drama of the roller blades makes this nifty - even without the great title! ... 8 |

man and natureby tomzinhoComment: Very neat interpretation - Definitely assisted yet not dependent on the title - For man to "get" the image is tough because he's drowning in it. I really like the hues and texture and juxtoposition here. 8 |

The Cageby e301Comment: Beautiful range of tones and a genuinely interesting shot. Looks like maybe he's a little ticked and putting his phone away and going back and maybe getting a pair of shin guards for his kid. She - perhaps his wife .. they definitely are odd in that perhaps they are together yet are apart via phone. The candid quality , composition and tones are great here: 8 |
