Came back to bump this. I think this is a gutsy shot for DPC, as many voters may vote it down for cutting off the head, but I think this shot is better because it is non-traditional. Beautiful photo.

This is a cool image, and underrated. The underrating is partially my own fault though, I see that I rated this a 5, and had I given this photo the time it deserved during voting, I would have noticed more of the elements in the shot. Congrats on the 1x favs :)

Hey Bear

The croc is pointed with its mouth to the right, and the body to the left. The slits behind the eyes are actually the ears. If you look at the other pic posted in the description, you will see more of the face, with the nostrils as well.
