This has the same kind of driving/approaching look and feel of the other version, but the colors make it seem harder, less threatening. I love the gradients...with the excellent lighting they really draw you into the image. Very well done image!

I like the effect in this. The shift between her positions with the shadow make a real nice contrast. I like these types of shots - always interesting. The light flares give it an ethereal look.

This is an excellent shot! Very underrated in the challenge. The textures are fantastic. I like the close crop as well as the close in focus. Very nice composition. Eating adds a great element. Almost like 'you can take my picture, but don't expect me to stop eating.'

Unfortunately I didn't get to vote on all entries in this challenge. This is a great shot. Full of contrasts and opposing feels. Age - or oldness - seems apparent. What really strikes me is the difference between the top and bottom half of the shot. The top seems so smooth and graceful in a way. The bottom is rough, rigid. Very nicely composed and the tight crop really helps him/her to stand out for the full frame and not just part of it. Nice job! Great image!

Congrats on a top 20! At first look I was bothered by the oof portion on the left forground. As I reviewed them for voting, I realized it actually was an important part of the composition (intentional?) It sets up an 'emergence' sort of feel. The colors and the subtle changes and flow in the shot are excellent!! From gray sky at top down through the soft pastels of the sky to the water and beach is one of the nicest transitional flows of color and contrast - definitely at the right place at the right time. Well done!! Very nice capture!!!
