Flying highby hannekeComment: I can see where if someone's monitor is not adjusted properly where it would appear too dark. I like the pic as is (on my monitor). I don't need to know what you have on your head (although I can see what it is clearly). I like the mystique presented by the photo. Why so dark with the glass on? What is she doing? Is this a crime scene? Is there something nefarious going on?
I like the photo as is and love the composition. It brings so many questions to the mind in so many directions that to simply comment on its brightness/darkness seems to me to be somewhat simplistic and kind of like 'first impressionistic' and not seeing the value of what is on front of you. Just a point of view... |

***by agenkinComment: Very cool photograph. There is a statement here somewhere, just not sure where. Makes my mind wander in all kinds of directions. A touch of elegance, yet the 'on the curb' feel. Very provocative . Excellent exposure. Message edited by author 2006-09-28 22:15:43. |

Infestedby rox_roxComment: Wow Roxanne - congratulations on the finish! Excellent shot! Very true to topic and well executed. I really like the b/w processing - the right choice. Got a laugh from this one which I used as a partial gauge for scoring in this challenge...this scored well with me. Great job! I love it! |

Awesome x 2 !!by SandyPComment: Very nice shot Sandy! The composition is excellent! I really like the perspective you chose. The detail and clarity of their features is really strong - focus is spot on and really supports the closeness of the shot. Very well done exposure - their presence is felt and not just seen. Excellent! |

Bricks & Satinby SJCarterComment: Very nice Jimmy! Your model is perfectly composed and posed - your direction must have been excellent! Her placement in the frame (your crop) is perfect and her expression really supports the atmosphere you have created here with the presentation - title, crop, location, subject. The colors in the shot are strong and the contrast between subject and setting is a very strong element. Very well done Jimmy! I look forward to seeing more shots from this session! |

Take Me Home...by SJCarterComment: Very nice lines and balance in this picture. Composition is excellent allowing both to come together in full strength. The natural lighting also lends a lot of strength to the scene - the shift from left to right. Very beautiful and serene setting captured very well. The road and fence lines are really strong and well placed in the shot. They really draw you into the scene and help you get absorbed in the peace of the location. Very well shot Jimmy! Good strong colors, good composition, great mood and emotive force! Message edited by author 2006-09-04 05:56:09. |

Mother & Childby manic35Comment: I like the composition and the b/w treatment. But I find myself distracted by the foot. All seems to be still in the shot except for that. |

Lubber 0706by rox_roxComment: I love these Lubbers! You seem to get great shots of them. I know, you said they were lazy once, but the effort you put into the shot is the key! Love the DoF in the shot. Bokeh is strong and helps the subject stand out. The lines on the leaf and the lubber play off each other quite well. Nice work Roxanne! |

No Fearby rox_roxComment: Very nice shot - DoF is good, composition is excellent, and the timing (woman's legs in the bg) is perfect for the title combination. A fun shot that is very well done! |
