I've Got My Eyes on You!by van63Comment: needs the brightness on the cats face/chest toned down - perhaps by tweaking the WB on your camera. Not really a macro or near-macro as you did not zoom in to a specific feature of this feline. |

Three in One Macro by FalcComment: this is an awesome shot. Yours is one of three tens I have given out this challenge - wish I could give it an 11. |

Green Dragon by md8speedComment: what a cute little guy! Nice green and yellow tones - detail is pretty good. Too bad you could not get rid of the white specks on the eys though. Still - 10 |

Hello by gaurawaComment: the colors are beautiful. I love the detail on the face - even the area between the eys where this fly looks to have been sutured together - lol
Great shot 10 |

Square Nailby jbeazellComment: the subject, while plain, does make me wonder what is at the end of the rope, or what the rope is being used for. However, for a macro challenge you need to concentrate on an area of 1-2 inches - even without a true macro lens, you should be as close as you can to the subject and try for sharp detail of the most interesting part. |

I See You!by maxjComment: the baby is adorable - however not close enough to constitute MACRO or even near-Macro. The focus is way too soft in my opinion |

sure you can look!by benlenzComment: not sure what you were trying to focus on here. If it was the tiny hairs on the end of the nose above the bright area (right side) then I can see them but not close enough. If it were the inside of the nostrils, tilt the head back more. |
