I like the perspective and composition here. That little bit of upper lip lift makes this really cute. I love when my pugs do that - almost like they're smirking at you.

Cosmo is a cutie. Suggestions for this shot: adjust the exposure a bit - maybe -1 stop so his fur isnt blown out by the sun. Burn the shadows of the wood deck a bit to make him stand out more.

I like his sleepy eyes here as it really depicts that nice laid back basking in the sun feeling. I get the feeling this is a favorite spot of Cosmo's.

Nice DOF. The detail on the butterfly is really nice, as are the colors. You may want to consider cropping a little tighter. There is a lot of negative space along the bottom border that draws my eye away from the butterfly.

I like the DOF used here as it really draws me to his cute little face. The color tones are warm and welcoming. Nice catch light in the eye. :-)

I just have to comment on this as I have my own "dead" file in my portfolio.
Love the dramatic pose here. I would have tried to get down on his level though and shoot from a more level perspective. Some burning to darken the ground would set more of a mood too.
