Week 07 - Stoneby hajekaComment: Long exposure - clear, sharp, wide lens view closeup. Tonal range very good. Nice example of using this lens usually neglected closeup capability. |

Sticky Feetby lshlesComment: Butterfly House - I like this tight cropped close up well enough, but little more environment seems to contribute to this kind of view, especially if your a little soft in the detail. |

No Way Outby lshlesComment: Construction site - seems really a dangerous, crazy place for this worker. fyi 9. A favorite in this challenge. |

Reflecting Giantby trevytrevComment: You are fortunate for your proximity to this amazing and remarkable construction. The predominate and most interesting structure on the St. Louis city skyline. Unique to the city or any other American city.
I enjoy your Arch gallery & all your photo interpretations of this symbol of the city. The grain effect in this foto and also in this - have the feeling of viewing from afar, through some haze, from a distance, which is usually the way it is casually observed. (even though you are close) I think your Arch fotos thoughtful and articulate.

6.52 Nice dayby MelethiaComment: Graphic black contrast of the top dark weight of the trunks - slicing into cement, like a broken comb - more detailed, bench & man walking the dog, brought up enough, but still subordinate to the light, all balanced w/the unseen tree canopy creating wonderfully lacy, shadows upon the sidewalk.
A interesting file to start with - I like this rendering. |
