| Love it! simple subject, simple background yet works so well. Nice composition and exposure :) It was mentioned earlier but there is a little 'noise' or pp leftovers on the left of the rock and top right. I suffer from it lots as I have a dark monitor so when working with dark backgrounds now I create a new layer, hit the shadow/highlight tool then selct the layer below and burn the niggly spots away before deleting the shadow/highlight layer - works a treat :) |

| My first impression when I saw the thumbnail was that this was going to be the tip of a pool cue. My surprise. Nice textures and layers which are accentuated by the dramatic lighting. |

| A good study of light and tonal range! I'm one of those who kinda likes context as opposed to clean and simple lack of backgound, but I'm definitely in the minority on that count. |

| whoa, nice i really like the reflection. beautiful capture. theres a little bit of something around the outside edge of the stone...i cant tell what it is though |

| Long exposure - clear, sharp, wide lens view closeup. Tonal range very good. Nice example of using this lens usually neglected closeup capability. |
