Where ever Bird Rock is.... the high vantage point view of this landscape is beautiful.
To my eye this appears a normal contrast. Less contrast (but maybe sometimes more -micro contrast, a DXO option I recently discovered to be useful) often in landscapes renders certain realism of atmosphere-haze/distance. The colour has a soft seasonal (early spring from my geographic palette) quality.
