fabulous bird portrait........ fabulous colour....... fabulous framng.... fabulous photo technical ....... fabulous field ability........ and last, fabulous use of depth of field, which I assume is your intended negative space....... but that sadly does not meet all my criteria for negative space. an overall ten for the image.......... but five for the challenge.

I am giving the dog a ten and the photo a six....... the title means everything to this picture....... certianly the space around the dog is negative but not necessarily in a visually interesting way.......

Suez? Panama? Where ever it is, it looks like an exciting place to be. Strong concept with medium effort. To me the intended negative space graphic representation is weak.

At first I thought a 5, just another gobbler picture....... but the arm extended to the right into the dark (your negative space) with the little finger pointing up is a unique expression captured. Seven.
