Nice composition. Looks very country. The color in the apples seem to be a little over saturated...could be just me or my monitor. However, I feel that desaturating them a little would make them look more natural. Also, the focus is a little soft. 8

I like the composition of this picture, however, this looks a little over processed. Too much soft focus on the apple. Did you use Neat Image? If you did, the apple suffered. Otherwise the lighting looks good and the colors are crisp. 8

I'm not like most voters on DPC. I'm a sucker for good pet photos. I very much praise your dog for being such a good model. Poor guy, I hope his/her eyes didn't get stuck cross eyed during this photo shoot. LOL The dog definately steels the show from the subject of the challenge, but I don't care. The lighting helps draw it out better. A little dark at the bottom. I may have cropped off more at the bottom rather than trying to lighten the whole picture. 10 regardless

The apple just seems to be a little out of place in this picture. Maybe I've been studying pictures too long today, however, the apple was obviously placed there as it looks like an apple from the store (uniformly green and nicely waxed), whereas the leaf looks natural in this worn window seal or box. Otherwise the color and focus are nice and well done. =9
