mess in my roomby costi81Comment: ...you know... I just really like this... I keep coming back to this image...the light and shadow are just so appealing...I love the yellow...it really is a "slice" of life, so vernacular really. I used to take pictures like this when I was younger...my early 20's and younger and my mother thought I was nuts..."Why are you taking a picture of your messy room?" ( Actually, now that I tihnk about it, I still take pictures of my messy rooms.) I would even elaborately light the mess with studio lighting... and looking back at them now I find them quite fascinating...and so does my mom....sorry to ramble and I hope you aren't getting tons of hateful comments for not fitting the challenge...I really like this, I like it alot. |

1776 - Freedom of from a State Religionby vtruanComment: I think maybe there is a word missing from the title? (not?)...I think this is what confused me...1776-Freedom of, NOT from, a state of religion...that makes total sense. I like images that try to say something...that get the ole' blood boiling, or atleast make people think...the more I look at this the more I like it, esp. how the cross appears "separated" from the building bring about the whole separation of state and church issue...again "of " not "from"...I'll be looking forward to seeing the other comments this image might get. The dark sky is such a nice contrast against the lightness of the building and cross. |

peaceby messerschmittComment: There is something very "punk" about this...or maybe "new wave"...a perfect yet vibrant roughness...a very appealing composition indeed Wil..."This is Radio Clash" keeps playing in my head when I look at this..I know...it makes no sense at all...but there it is...Rock the Casbah.

1954by Joey LawrenceComment: kool... those bikes and coke machines are great except back in 1954 they looked a whole lot newer...but perhaps he is from the wrong side of town... he's no soc ( think The Outsiders)...this would totally rock if this were set against a cement wall, or brick...anything but that suburban lookin' garage door.
A second look...still really kool...I just love fifties stuff...and I forgot to give ya kudos on the slick pomp do...looks good and greeazy.
