 Why 1977?
The car was made in 1977, so I felt it was unfair to list it as a year before that.

Problems encountered: the car was parked in the garage, so I had to crop out a bit of that which showed. Also, I didnt realize this until I looked at the pics on the computer, but the registration tag which says '05 is on the front of the windshield, so I had to crop that out too. :(
I would have reshot, but I was already 3 hours away from where I took the pic. Oh well.

Looks perfect to me. After voting on all the entries I thought yours had everything. Great photo in general and most important it nails the subject of the challenge. Take away the title and you still know what era you're conveying. That's something you can't say for many of the photos ranked ahead of yours. Good job.

i love it! this is a sweet shot! i hope it does well. i've seen a lot of car shots in this challenge, but this one is the best! the girl looks awesome, and the compositions is really cool, and i like the blown out upper right corner. I give it a 9.

I really like the the look of this picture. The blown sky actually works in this setting I think, however I just wish that the highlights inthe rear of the car were still there.

This looks like it belongs in a magazine. My one complaint is the reflection in the car - it's distracting to me. Otherwise, great job! 8
