Wild Geraniumby JewellianComment: ID per your request.
Wild Geranium.
Geranium maculatum.
AKA Spotted Cranesbill.
I'm 98% sure on the ID on this one. If I could see more of the leaf it would help.
Leaf for the wild geranium : Leaves: 4-5" (10-12.5 cm) wide; gray-green, cut into deeply toothed lobes, the basal leaves long-stalked.
Sound familiar?
Hope this helps...

Large-flowered Trilliumby JewellianComment: ID per your request.
Large-flowered Trillium.
Trillium grandiflorum.
Also known as Large-flower Wakerobin.
Y'know, I'd like this one better if the petals weren't so chewed up by the weather.

Morro Bay sunsetby beafliesComment: I have 2 bones to pick with this photo. 1) the sun and reflected light on the water are too bright. 2 The water around the seagull is too dark, which makes the bird and piling difficult to see. I do like the boat, and the clouds around the island (?) are really pretty. |

The Town Steepleby TommyMoe21Comment: The lighting around the cross is exquisite. I think I would prefer a different crop for this pic, though. The dark clouds and trees on the right give the pic an unbalanced feel. Perhaps a crop with just the church and spire would give this a cleaner 'feel', but hta's just my opinion. |

Many rivers to crossby UNCLEBROComment: Awesome pic! Beautiful colors, and I love the angle at which this was shot. Great detail in the bridges. I predict top 10 for this one. 10 from me.
PS - Is this Charleston, SC? |

LaCamas Lakeby ace flymanComment: Beautiful sunset. Wish the silhouette of the fisherman was a little more defined and did not blend in with the treeline quite so much. Gorgeous color and detail in the water. Beautiful composition. |

Stillbornby mocabelaComment: Only thing that detracts from this image IMO is that it is cropped very tight on the right. Otherwise this is a fine picture. |
