Expectancyby anthonyczajaComment: Great concept, good posing, and definately something I'd expect to see in a fashion magazine - except for the pole growing out of the top of her head. This could have been avoided by simply moving her a couple of feet to her left. Remember, always watch your background. |

The Lookby CutterComment: The only thing that throws this off for me is the tightness of the crop on the left side. I would like to see at least the edge of her hairline on the other side of her face to give it a little more definition. As it stands, she seems a little 'lop-sided' with no defining edge on the left. Also, perhaps a little more skin texture would be nice - she has a little bit of a plastic look to her. 'The Look', however, was captured perfectly. |

This season's must-have...by frogletComment: Fashion victim? Hmmm... perhaps it's a statement against the fashion industry? Or maybe just a tongue-in-cheek poke at the whole beauty establishment? :) I like the composition and set-up of this. The lighting is right - no distracting glare or shadows. Very nicely done. |

Modoby tjmuellerComment: Don't know if it's the lighting or her makeup, but her face is very yellow. I think it's the makeup, since her forearm isn't as yellow. The pose is ok, except for the placement of her hand - it would be far more flattering to have the back of her hand along the other side of her face. As it is now, it makes her hand and her jaw look overly large. |

Strike a Poseby ChilibeanComment: Hmmm... I feel like her face should be what's in focus, not her hand and rear-end. Also, the light seems to miss her face, so she's kind of left in the dark. The pose isn't very flattering to her body shape, and the color seems to wash her out a bit.
I like the idea behind it, though. I feel like with a few adjustments and a lighter colored wardrobe this could easily be found in the pages of a fashion magazine. |

Mirror, Mirrorby clickawayComment: The only, repeat only, thing that really detracts from this is that her reflection is in clearer focus than she is. I love the shot, love that it's an 'action' shot rather than a studio set-up, and I think it's something that may well be seen in a fashion magazine. To me, though, the focus being entirely on the reflection detracts from the overall picture. |

Terpsichoreby dpjerryComment: I like the pose, and I can see where this might be used as a cosmetics advertisement. The lighting seems a little harsh - or maybe a little cool. Warmer lighting might make her look a little younger and a little friendlier. Here she looks 'fierce', which may or may not have been the intention. |

Western Flairby slgardnerComment: Very nicely done. Excellent choice of background for the subject. The crop seems a little tight on the left. The pose is nice, could possibly be better if she were to unclench her left hand and raise her chin a little. I like the sepia toning of this - it fits well with the theme of the photo. |

A tie nevers gets oldby nico_blueComment: Hmmm. Good shot, but not quite great. The light is a tad harsh (almost hot spots on the hand), the face and hand are just slightly out of focus, and the crop at the face is a little awkward (cutting the nose in pieces just isn't appealing to me). However, I like the concept, and the pose. |

Boots are in Bloom This Season!by newsjunkie93Comment: Interesting idea. Would like to see a deeper DOF as the intent seems to be to focus (as it were) on the boots rather than the flowers. Having the boots out of focus seems to take the attention away from them and put it on the flowers, which, IMO, should be the supporting role in the pic. |
