I actually like the way you composed this. Works very well as a square crop. Love the blue and yellow colors. I even like the grain, which usually is distracting but seems to work on this image. Nice light on the leaves, too.

Hey, thats what we did today too. Had juicy hamburgers and chicken and some pasta salad. Even got some rain while it was cooking. You did an excellent job on capturing the smoke.

Great emotion in this image. There is definitely a sense of longing in that face. I had a cat that fell off the garage roof, landed on the cement step underneath, and basically shattered his hip. He had to stay in the bathroom (the only room we could shut the door on without little activity) while he mended. He never would get the bone back, but he did have cartilage that grew in place of it. Didn't seem to bother him a bit once he got back on his feet.

Very nice use of negative space. Used well for this composition and title. It seems to create a sense of time, only in this case the feel of all the time in the world (to get from one corner to another.)
