 The title needs a little explanation. This is Cyrus, a 15 month old female cat from Mercy's first litter. She started her life as a feral cat, and though she tamed up wonderfully and turned into a mostly indoor kitty, I would still let her into the yard in the morning to frolic and feel wild again. Unfortunately, about two months ago she managed to break her leg very badly while outside (she's not divulging how it occurred). She had to have surgery to wire the femur back together, and it has been a long recovery process during which time she lost all outdoor privileges (she still has a bit of a limp). She hates not being able to go outside! Today I finally took pity on her, and since I wanted some pictures of her anyway in natural light, I decided to let her out for a bit -- under my close supervision of course! So the title is what I figure she must have been thinking as she gazed up the tree that she may have fell out of in the first place to break her leg over two months ago...

What an adorable shot! I love the intense look in her eyes. Really nice colors too btw.

Great emotion in this image. There is definitely a sense of longing in that face. I had a cat that fell off the garage roof, landed on the cement step underneath, and basically shattered his hip. He had to stay in the bathroom (the only room we could shut the door on without little activity) while he mended. He never would get the bone back, but he did have cartilage that grew in place of it. Didn't seem to bother him a bit once he got back on his feet.
