Footprintsby pgattComment: Wow, you got no comments on this one. I don't think I've seen any challenge entries yet with 0 comments. Anyway, I love the interesting colors of this one. If you had cropped out the foreground, I would almost think it was a topographical image of a mountain. I voted it a 7 during the challenge, probably because I thought it didn't depict granular all that much. Still, the photo is definitely very cool. |

Garie-4-DPC.jpgby pgattComment: Very nice contrast. The wing of the bird, though seems to be joining the background too much. Do you have the ability in your editing to lighten up either the wing or the background, just on that one spot, though? I also would like to see a closer cropping. By the way, I love black and white. I am posting one of cows on my portfolio. I decided I don't want to enter dairy after all. |

Rug Ratby BikeRacerComment: Of all the images, I like this one best. It has a personality to it. When shooting cat pictures, they work best when the cat is being a cat. I have several shots of my kitties too. I did not know cats were taboo. Why is that? Could explain why no body seems interested in looking at my pics. Anyway, many of the portrait styles you have done need something more. Maybe a different background, or a toy, or a feather. Give them a bit more interest and I think they really will come alive. By the way, on your high something or other crop, because the cat is light with light eyes, I don't think that style really works for Tungsten. Hope this helps you, and I hope I didn't piss you off or anything. |

Sunshine and showersby PixelstateComment: Nice lighting. Looks almost like a dancer. Seemed a little flat. I don't really know. I like the image but something bothers me, but I can't figure out what. Once I see the other comments, maybe I'll better be able to figure out what is tugging at me. Gave it a 7. |

Playful Dropsby milo655321Comment: Great image. I really like the light being weighted and centered as it is. Definitely shows rain. 10 |

Take that!by mrorange002Comment: Great depiction of kids being kids, and if they are sisters you can really tell by the image. Not enough color saturation, though. The entire image seems to be the same tone. Not sure how you could have really made the girls jump out. Maybe fill in flash or an adjustment on exposure at the time of the image. |

After the rain...by blancericComment: The dark background really causes the petal to jump out at you. Nice detail on the rain drops. |

Early Morning Showerby KonadorComment: Thought it could use a little more light. The leaves kind of sink into the background because the color is similar. Maybe a little fill in flash, or just adjusting the light during editing. You might also be able to push your compensation in your camera a stop or two. |

Suspended in the Rainby chefsamComment: Very nice web shot. Loved the blues and greens in the background. Though there are several blown out highlights from the background, they are not enough to distract from the image. |
