Nice details. Focus is a bit off imho, but I like the nice detail on the rusty tools.

More crop to focus on the foreground would have brought the photo into a better proportion.

Excellent composition. I love the balance of light and dark, and the way you equalized the reveal in the upper part of the composition. Like the border addition, too.

Wonderful portrait. So very sweet, and what a capture. I love the contrast of the mans skin and the childs skin. Both are beautiful in their own way.

A really great capture of this, whatever type of plant it is.....

You wouldn't want to eat it. I think it is skunk cabbage. If it is I can't believe how I have disregard converting it to black and white. What a great enhancement. Now I have to go out to shoot skunk cabbage again, and convert to black and white. You did a great job on all levels. Thanks for the inspiration.

Is is hallucenogenic? Just kidding. I think the highlights are too blown out on the image, though I like the sepia tone. Also, image could be better focused. One thing I have discovered when shooting mushrooms is that they can be picked and moved around to get the best light to enhance the image. Just turning it over and photographing the bottam can create some nice compositions.

I like the tones on the image. I don't particularly like the grain, though. It doesn't create a pleasing halo in the hair. The strands on the top of the head are especially distracting and pull down what could be a very strong and beautiful image.

Lovely and moody. Maybe a bit more definition in the raindrops would really create an even better composition. Your light, which just glances across the surface, really makes the image sing.

Nice use of strong shadows. I have not tried much low key, but will be as the month progresses.
