Oliveby sevComment: Interesting pp. Not sure I like the overall affect. Would have liked to see it just as a straight photo, with maybe some graphics on branch and background. |

Day 3 - Threeby sherpetComment: Excellent composition. I love the balance of light and dark, and the way you equalized the reveal in the upper part of the composition. Like the border addition, too. |

Day One: F & Sby Art RoflmaoComment: Wonderful portrait. So very sweet, and what a capture. I love the contrast of the mans skin and the childs skin. Both are beautiful in their own way. |

Day 2 - B&W Challengeby alexjackComment: Originally posted by sherpet: Almost looks so juicy, one could almost eat it.....
A really great capture of this, whatever type of plant it is..... |
You wouldn't want to eat it. I think it is skunk cabbage. If it is I can't believe how I have disregard converting it to black and white. What a great enhancement. Now I have to go out to shoot skunk cabbage again, and convert to black and white. You did a great job on all levels. Thanks for the inspiration. |

landedby PhilComment: Is is hallucenogenic? Just kidding. I think the highlights are too blown out on the image, though I like the sepia tone. Also, image could be better focused. One thing I have discovered when shooting mushrooms is that they can be picked and moved around to get the best light to enhance the image. Just turning it over and photographing the bottam can create some nice compositions. |
