Three Trishaws and a Treeby amberComment: I love these kinds of pictures -- great subject, great setting. I'd have liked to see a little more contrast between the trishaws and the background. Or maybe some editing to bring out the interiors or the trishaws. I guess what I'm saying is that the whole picture is a tad dark. What was this like in color? |

Tulips in a Pitcherby banmornComment: This is my favorite picture, and if it were in a flower challenge, I'd give it an 8 or 9, but I really can't see any indication that this was lit by a candle. |

White Christmasby garlicComment: I guess the candles are lit, but it's hard to tell on the white background. Also, the candles aren't all straight in their holders. |

Midnight Snackby brianhendeeComment: You have a really nice still life of fruit and cheese at the right. It's tones are quite dark. The white candle is a jarring note, and the wites around the flame are blown out. I think you would have done better with a darker colored candle, and some editing around the flame so we could see it. |

Holiday Fruit Basketsby scalvertComment: This is a well done photo, but I wish you had cropped it closer. I had to scroll a lot to see the whole thing, and it lost a lot of it's impact. I'm lookig at it now with the red apple above the handle at the upper margin, and I think it's an excellent composition that way. Hope I made myself clear. 8) |
